Glam Rock

Way back in the day when I was first coming into the know that this virtual world was a shoppers dream I found myself looking for things that were not the common prim mini and corset. Not that there is anything wrong with the common prim mini and corset but when everyone had the same look, well I had to be me and that did not include being one of the herd. I set off to find new sims and interesting shops and I happened upon the most fantastic store, Artilleri! This store was the first place that I had found that was not your run of the mill and things looked…real! Of course I bought one of nearly everything Antonia Marat had created and found that I was finally being Cerrie and not just another resident. I found that it perpetuated a desire delve into this style more as you will see in the outfit I chose for today.

I typically tend to be very mainstream when I shop, thinking in terms of ‘What do I have that I can match and pair this…shirt, skirt, top with?’ So when I come across an item that throws me back to those days when I needed something out of the ordinary, I have to buy it. That is how I felt the instant I saw this dress from Sn@tch. It has this glamorous yet slightly different feel to me…it says to me, ‘Please…mess with me!’ When I slap on my Canimal tatts I all but feel transported to another time and place.

San Fran Imogen

Things are lining up to be a great day. My way of celebrating is to visit someplace San Frantastic, Imogen! Imogen is a lovely sim created by people I think are SLebrities! (Hello Haver Cole) I am again sporting a skin from Another Fundraiser. Jaded by Tigerlily Koi and I am really happy with it’s soft, sweet, youthful look. The eyes are accentuated with a smokey teal and the lips a deep rose.

I wanted a warm outfit for my trek around Imogen so I chose a sweater dress and tights. I paired it up with knee high boots, threw my hair up under a knit cap, grabbed my hobo bag and off I go.
Dancing on the bridge, good thing traffic was light! In all it was a good visit, I took in some shopping, jumped off the bridge, visited the park under the bridge (since I was down there anyway) and just enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The White Queen

I did major damage to my pocketbook at the Another Fundraiser event to fund UNICEF. One it is a good cause and two have you seen all the amazing skins? I was a little disappointed to see a few of them not being sold, but ah well, I have more than enough here to keep me blog happy for awhile. Today I decided to build a look around Sai Pennell’s Masked Midnight. Oh la la, I feel like an angel!

I love the silver glittery eyes and the great brows. The lips are just the right shade of pink and well it made me feel heavenly. The skin is wonderfully modified, Sai added a beautiful highlighting and you really do find yourself glowing when you wear a simple face light.

I have been looking for a reason to wear this outfit! I feel fierce, this kinda looks like I am channeling Storm from X Men. All of these poses are from Juicy, the Divinely Naughty Poses.

I took the photos at Svarga. You can TP to this area where you feel like you are in space, you can float amidst the stars and galaxies. Serious chill zone here and a great place to meet people.
