To Be Tranquil

I am a huge fan of Japanese sims. You can find the most wonderful items, creative, made with a discerning eye and mostly fun! I regularly shop for tiny avatars with a friend and we always end up with hilarious new things and always from a Japanese creator. So when I saw that iTutu was opening and had a hunt, I went right over. Simple hunt: locate 12 hidden piles of apples and receive wonderful goodies. Well needless to say I go there when no one was there and slowly but surely the place filled up and I was still only in the second store of the 4 there. Grrrr…..

The store I was stuck in was Amerie Spitteler’s shop, amerie’s NAUGHTY. Not that this was a hardship for me, I love her outfits! Lots of use of dark lace and bright bold colors that are dark with wear and tear. There is a hint of Lolita thrown in and a flavor of street wear. What is the outcome of this odd concoction? Yummy! Literally, the outfit Kim and I are wearing are 2 of the 3 color options, the other is green is called Yummy! It is a little bit 80’s too and what is not to love about the 80’s?

Amerie also has a really great selection of tights and socks. We paired some lacy, ripped up leggings with boots to complete the look. Truly, you can’t live without this outfit! Well you could but You should still go check out Amerie’s store and the other great clothing she makes. While you are at iTutu, make sure and hit the other stores as well and leave no stone unturned. There is much to see on this small plot of land.

Styling Aphrodite

I am a friend of Aphrodite Outlander. She is the unbelievably talented creator behind Aphrodite Creations. Clothing, shoes (oh the incredible shoes) and now poses. Maybe you also caught her skins at the Another Fundraiser? I’m telling you she dabbles in it all! As it turns out, she is also really funny and very sweet! This adorable outfit from S.Y.D. is named after her.

I saw it come across the feeds and went in search of it over the weekend. The outfit comes in two colors brown and olive. Neutral colors that work well with a vast majority of my wardrobe. Simple tank with spaghetti straps and a mini denim skirt. I love the sculpted scarf it adds a bit of cover and interest. I also like that it has flexi bits.

Now on Aphrodite’s behalf I think that she should get both of these outfits from Sy Sy. :) I mean it is only fitting, yes? Aph really didn’t put me up to this. Check out both stores for fantastic goodies that you simply should not pass up.

Solitude and Little People

This post is hardly about my insightful fashion sense. It is more about, well it’s not really about anything. I tried on a few different outfits and I just kept staring at the screen completely unmoved by them. So I picked a letter, “C”, and put on everything that started with said letter. C is for Casual, C is for Calm…C is for Cwiet… LOL I did find a lovely and serene place. It is a park or garden on the Aoharu sim. It reminds me a bit of Alice in Wonderland.

There are random fairies and rainbows, fields of flowers and a small pond with a mama swan and her 2 babies, sit under the big tree and read a book or sit at the table with the little people and the watchful kitty.

Randomly there is a rocking horse covered in spots as a sleeping Dalmatian lays close. I have always wanted a pony. This little park is like being submerged in someones’ dream and not being 100% sure if it is really a dream or if you are awake. So I sit and watch the sun set, I half expect the little people to offer me a little cake to have with my wine. Very surreal.
