Well I can’t compare with a racy post like I did yesterday so you get me today with a fair bit more clothing. A beautiful retro 1920’s dress in fact. And I am at a sim that is under the gun of impending disaster. Viva la Glam lies in the shadow of a tsunami. It is dark, there is torrential rain, whipping winds, lightning and ominous clouds as the devastating wave looms closer. Thankfully they are handing out these cute color change umbrellas so that us shopping types can brave the downpour and grab what we can before the wave hits and washes the goodies away.

Neferia Able of Ivalde has created a dress that roared out of the 20’s and into our virtual world. Skirlaug is a chiffon dress with a sculpty cowl collar and a loose fitting style top and flexi skirt. The is also a sculpty scarf belt that is dual purposed; 1 it covers the system skirt gap and 2 gives the very blousy top a connection and a smooth transition to the skirt. it comes in 4 colors but this lovely salmon just jumped out at me.

I put on an adorable hat from Mezzo. 5 hat colors, 2 options per hat for 99 smackeroos!! Tis a true steal. And monogrinds new ballet flats. There is a whole line of animal prints and they are terribly comfy though not terribly waterproof. Speaking of water it is rising here and I should go get to higher ground. Quick put on some waders and get over to Glam and Miam Miam before the wave hits.

**Note** The goodies I grabbed I will share with ya next week. I am gonna hurry out of here the humidity is killing me!**

Some of you may or may not know, but I got married in world the end of March to Thomas. Soon after that I was needing to move and work has called him away for an extended period of time. So I find that I am having to amuse myself and the blog has very much helped with that. But I get tired of just photographing myself so I call on my virtual sister Kim. She is just so darn patient with my direction giving “…OK hop on that ball…can you go into mouseview, OK good don’t move” So when she logged in the other day and she asked me to make her a sexier shape I was happy to oblige.

New sexy shapes call for new sexy lingerie. Neither of us typically go for the latex clad vixen look so we went for it. Kim is wearing Wanda from Insolence’s Misty line and I am wearing Sally. Now to not get ourselves booted out of Flickr or admonished on the feeds we hopped over to Juicy and grabbed pasties to cover our very exposed bits. Apply incredibly beautiful vampy makeup from Frick (You must see this store! Incredibles skins!!) and huge hair and yes, yes I think this is gonna work.

Now when you are wearing latex that has formed a second skin, you have little to no coverage up front and you make squeaking sounds when you walk there is only ONE set of poses that I could think of that would do this sexy get up justice. Enter one Dove Swanson of Long Awkward Pose and her sinfully delicious Wannabe Pornstar pose set. I will tell you I took about 35 pictures and these poses are so incredible, I mean really! They ooze hotness! You may never think you will use them but wow, do not deny yourself this set. I’m off to try and peel out of this latex, I’m only a teensy bit worried…..

I have always had an affection for the silent movies. I was particularly enamoured with Charlie Chaplin and the brilliance of his craft. His genius comedy has influenced so much in our society so I am paying him a little tribute Cerrie style. I typically make my outfits in a mix and match sort of way so you will have to go all over the grid for this outfit.

The moment I put the top on it screamed Chaplin to me with it’s messy low tie and tightly cinched jacket that almost looks a size too small. I would love to see what it looks like on a man as this is from the men’s department over at G.L.A.M./Indigo. I then wanted to go with a capri pant that would be big and baggy like Charlie used to wear. I decided gray would brighten up the look and tweed is always fashionable. I broke down and finally bought a pair of ChiChi pumps from Maitreya to wear with the ankle ribbons. Why I waited so long is beyond me, they are terribly cool and I topped it off with a bowler, cane and a bowstache.

Now I look like him, the true test is to stand like him. I could have grabbed four Yip’s brilliant set but this was a solo Charlie act so I decided Caledon’s movie set was the next most logical place. Thanks to Gogo for turning us all on to Sylvan’s Animation Factory. I bought a gazoodle poses and found quite a few that were perfect for this Tramp. I’ma waddle off into the sunset now.
