I am sort of stuck in this muted mood. I think perhaps the weather in my fine state has something to do with that. What the weather does allow me is to pull out all my snuggly scarves, from that alone I can handle the gloom. I have scarves for every occasion, including sleeping. I have a fixation on mass transportation. I am a regular rider of the bus and would love to visit New York or London. So when I stumbled upon this store that has it’s landing point in an underground subway station I knew I would have to come back and snap some pictures.

I received this lovely fluffy scarf from Niniko as a group gift and it is like so many that I own in real life. Soft and long enough for a few good wraps around the neck with the right amount of fringe. It paired up nicely with the argyle sweater in grey and periwinkle. I like the short sleeve look of a sweater and this with the sculpted sleeves and waist attachment give it the perfect amount of roomy comfort. Being it not a traditional frumpy sweater I thought shorts would be good and gave me a change to pull on some of my favorite socks. And just in case there was still a chill from mostly bare legs, fur-lined leather boots should banish that.

My, my small breaks do feel nice. Leave it to another 50L Friday to get my motor running! There I stood in &bean listening to a few divas disdain over the fact there is not picture of the contents of the 50L box. I have skins and some clothing from &bean that I love so I went blindly into the purchase and I am quite happy with what I got!

A lovely, swishy, floating dress that looks like petals in a soft, smokey taupe color. You get two skirt options, though I think one of those is more a shirt, and two wrist options, one with long ties and the other a sculped cuff. Either way it is pretty to wear even if I didn’t know what it looked like before hand. I paired it up with other goodies of the Friday day. I think the designers have really gotten in the swing of this weekly event and as thanks to the troves of people streaming into the shops are giving extra goodies. Case and point the socks I am wearing from Tyranny. Tyranny has blown me away with its offering and it’s non-offerings and you should spend some time, I would suggest a day other than Friday, to look around the store and check out the great men’s and ladies clothing and skins. The socks are a free gift to us shoppers and they look smart with my dress by adding in a dark slash of color! The hair is of course Tiny Bird and I have major affection for Autumn Hykova’s hairs and her textures are so spot on that I cried just a little when I bought this style. No, I didn’t need more hair but c’mon, it’s so cute!!! The mask is color change so you can work it with just about everything. Lastly a 50L from last week. Miel has put out amazing jewelry for the 50L Friday’s and they are classy and big and perfect for all things fall right now. This Tor set is a perfect complement to the colors and the neckline of the dress. Cheers to the designers, thank you for making Friday’s even better for us!

I love when I come across something and it inspires me immediately to put a look together. Hail, hail it’s 50L Friday. This is like Christmas for me every week. I can hardly wait to see who will be involved that week and what goodies they have put out for us to snap up into our greedy little (or not so little) inventories. Yes, it’s a shopping gluttons best friend.

I like to change up to which stores I go to first. Mostly because I have this weird thing about following the same people from store to store. This week I saved This is a Fawn for last and I have to say I could hardly move my mouse fast enough to buy this dress. Thankfully, there was no lag and seconds later it was mine and I was scrambling back to my haven in the sky to put the look together the instantaneously popped into my mind when I saw Leda. I don’t know if I will be able to take this off for the forseeable future. Leda is an adorable little dress/bustier in a smokey grey with a light pattern to the dress panels and the perfect cut to the bustier. OMGWTF had on little bikini panties in her ad copy but I went with black boxer shorts; I love man panties. And to that the rain boots I bought an eon ago and never found the right thing to wear it with but see here is the trick, Clawtooth by Clawtooth has once again dazzled me with all things hair and put out this adorable updo in a delicious fall color that, yes ladies and gents, matches my boots! It’s Kismet, surely it must be.
