A True Garden of Delights

RL socked me last night so this was just a quick grab of my visit to the Garden of NPIRL Delights, specifically to four Yip’s exhibit, Elevator Angels. Here is just a smattering of words to describe her work: ingenious, innovative, original, creative, inventive, astonishing, fantastical, incredible, marvelous, miraculous, phenomenal, stupendous, unbelievable, wondrous, amazing…OK I think you get my drift!

The area is small but it goes up…and up…and up! Flowers spin around in a sort of outer layer of color and swirl, then you see the clouds, you enter and there in the center is The Family Tree. Touch a frame and your profile picture pops in. You are now part of the family. There are several ground level items, you can walk forever and not go anywhere or try your hand at walking on your hands. Sit here and you given wings a true ‘elevator’. As you look around you see eggs and feet, looking up you see spindly tables so you take a seat. Cute pose complete with wings and another photo op.

Moving on up the Family Tree it is almost a bean stalk and you see water drops, giant water drops that come from the clouds and make the flowers below grow. Hop in, have a dance, lay back and take in the view. It’s all so ethereal and surreal. It’s almost a dream. No, what it is, four Yip’s imagination given no bounds. Most if not all of what you play with here is available for your taking and check out her shops as well.
